Terracotta Building Material

Terracotta is the name for baked clay. Reddish brown color of terracotta gives warm, natural and ethnic impression.

In buildings, terracotta material can be used as floors, walls and accessories. Terracotta has a stable temperature, which means that it is relatively cool in the afternoon and it is not too cold in the evening.

Terracotta surfaces have pores that make this material feels colder and not to hard. Terracotta should not be polished with stripping process because it will ruin the texture of the surface of terracotta. To protect the surface of the terracotta and enhance the aesthetic of terracotta, it should be given a protective coating or wax coating.
